A FinishLynx line-scan
camera only sees a very narrow piece of the world: the finish line!
It looks at that finish
line many times a second and creates a continuous image capable of separating
the tightest finishes and reading to 1/1000th of a second!

Our crew provides a high level,
professional timing and results service for both track and field events. We
can handle field events as well, from seeding to recording sheets, to the
final set of results (long or short form).

SERVICES PROVIDED
The
computers/software, printers and the certified personnel to operate the
equipment. Provide immediate integration of FinishLynx's fully automatic
timing and Hy-Tek Meet Management software (English & French).
Immediate full
results to the announcer, athletes and public via paper, scoreboard and/or
Internet. An inventory of FinishLynx cameras, thus allowing various timing
locations, such as both sides of the finish line.
Timing accuracy to
/1000th of a second!
RESULTS MANAGEMENT
Full meet
administration using the latest meet management software. Integrated with
FinishLynx for complete automatic results processing. Automatically sets up
all heats using predetermined seeding formulas (or your rules!), and prints
out all heat sheets via Hy-Tek Meet Manager.
All functions, such
as, team scoring, forming flights and heats, qualifying procedures, are
handled with the computer. Results are produced quickly and neatly after
each event and in summary immediately after the completion of the meet.

As a result of our expertise,
sporting events can have the ability to generate results rapidly and then
post them to the Internet, to scoreboards, etc.

system allows authentic results (up) to the (ten) thousandth of a second.
Consequently, there are NO arguments possible…
Due to the efficiency of the
photo-finish system, the operators only require one teacher and one or two
volunteers at the finish line; NOT eight or ten teachers / volunteers
commonly needed with the traditional hand-timing "system". With
that in mind, the cost disbursed for the use of the system are way below
those allocated for supply teaching on that day... ...and is indispensable
for an excellent school meet!"
